Molokai Island is located in in the Hawaiian Islands. To the southeast is Maui Island. To the south is Lanai Island. Beyond to the northwest is Oahu. Prewar and during the Pacific War part of the Territory of Hawaii (Hawaii Territory). Today located in the State of Hawaii in the United States.
