Location South Sulawesi Province (Sulawesi Selatan) is located in the southwest peninsula of Sulawesi (Celebes) and includes the Selayar Islands in Indonesia. The provincial capital is Makassar (Makasser). To the north is Central Sulawesi Province and West Sulawesi Province. To the east is the Gulf of Boni (Bone Gulf) and beyond Southeast Sulawesi Province. To the south is the Flores Sea and to the west is the Makassar Strait. South Sulawesi Province (Sulawesi Utara) Makassar Strait borders South Sulawesi and Makassar. Makassar (Makasser) located on the south peninsula of Sulawesi (Celebes). Limboeng (Limbung, Limboeng 1) located at the tip of the south peninsula of Celebes Island. Aloe (Allu, Alloe, Alu, Aloe) located at the tip of the south peninsula of Celebes Island.
