Location
Lat 47 47' Long 112 07' and was listed as a "tribal headquaters" on a 1937 USSR map. Located rougly 140km east of Öndörhaan (Undur Khan) and about 165km west of Choybalsan (Sanbeisu, Bayantümen, Bain-Tumen, Bayan Tumen). Also known as "Obo Somon", "Bayan Obo Somon", "Bayan Ovod" or "Bayan-ovoo".
