| Location Lat 14°33′N Long 121°02′E Makati is located in southern Manila in the National Capital Region (NCR) of Luzon in the Philippines. Also known as San Pedro Macati or San Pedro Makati. Borders Mandaluyong to the north, Taguig to the east, Pasay to the south, and Manila to the west. Today, known as Makati City and classified as a highly urbanized city that is a thriving shopping and commerce area.
