Location
Malacañang Palace is located at 1000 J. P. Laurel Street in San Miguel in Manila on Luzon in the Philippines.

Construction
Built in 1750 by Spanish aristocrat Don Luis Rocha, sold to Col. Jose Miguel Formente, then acquired by the state in 1825 for use as the temporary residence of the Governors-General, the after 1900 the residence of the American Governor-General.

Malacañang Palace became the official residence of President Manuel L. Quezon and the official residence of every future Philippine President.
