Location Lat 14° 35' 60N Long 121° 0' 0E The San Miguel District is located in central Manila in the National Capital Region of Luzon in the Philippines. Borders the Pasig River to the south and includes Isla de Convalecencia (Convalecencia Island). Borders Quiapo to the northwest. Malacañang Palace (Presidential Palace) Located at 1000 J. P. Laurel Street. Built in 1750 by Spanish aristocrat Don Luis Rocha, today the official residence of the president of the Philippines. San Miguel Brewery Built prewar. Postwar, the Brewery buildings were demolished after being transferred to the Philippines government as property of the Malacanang Palace.
