Location Lat 9° 44' 21N Long 118° 44' 7E Puerto Princesa is located at an elevation of 26' / 7m roughly in the center of the east coast of Palawan Island in Palawan Province in the Philippines. Borders Puerto Princesa Bay. Wartime History Occupied by the Japanese. Starting in late October 1944 targeted by American bombers and later fighters.
