Location Wack Wack Country Club is located at Mandaluyong west of Highway 54. Also known as Wack Wack Golf & Country Club or simply Wack Wack. Construction Built during 1930 by American William J. Shaw. Wartime History During the war, Wack Wack was located to the west of Mandaluyong East Airfield. During the later stages of the war circa 1944-1945 Japanese aircraft were dispersed into the golf course area to hide them from aerial observation and Allied bombing attacks. Liberated by the US Army during February 9-10, 1945. On the grounds of the golf course A6M5 Model 52 Zero Tail 1-01 was captured intact on the golf course where it was likely dispersed. During 1945-1946, the level area of the golf course fairway was used as a grass landing field for US Army light aircraft including Piper L-4 Grasshoppers and L-5 Sentinels. The golf course is also in the middle of the Mandaluyong A/Fs (East and West) and a few aircraft were dispersed an hidden in the tree areas. Today Wack Wack Country Club is still used as a golf club.
