Location
Lat 6° 51' 35" S Long 156° 8' 38" E Piedu Island is located in the Solomon Sea in the Fauro Island Group (Fauro Islands) in Western Province of the Solomon Islands. To the east is Fauro Island. To the north is Masamasa Island and to the east is the northern tip of Choiseul Island.

Wartime History
During 1942, occupied by the Japanese until the official surrender of Japan on September 2, 1945.
