To the west is Kirakira Airport (Kira Kira, Ngorangora). Prewar A plantation with coconut palms harvesting copra was established at this location managed by Foster. Today Kirakira is the capital of Makira-Ulawa Province. Kirakira Airport (Kira Kira Airport) Postwar built airfield in the center of the island.
