Tank History
This tank has four return rollers per side and a rear ditching tail. Assigned to the 7th Independent Tank Company commanded by Captain Kono.

Wartime History
Transported to Leyte and deployed near the Burouen Airfield (Burauen). On October 20, 1944 the tanks of the company advanced towards the American landing beach and fought with the US Army around Dulag. Six tanks were destroyed and the remaining tanks withdrew.

Wreckage
Captured, this tank was shipped to the United States for testing.

Display
Displayed at the US Army Ordnance Museum (Aberdeen Proving Ground). In 2008, this tank was painted overall white and was unrestored.
