Wartime History
Abandoned or crashed near Alexishafen II (Danip) Airfield.
Wreckage
Wreckage remains including the engine, with the propeller blades cut off at the hub.
Keith Hopper adds:
"Wreck is further along the main bitumen road towards Danip approximately 200 metres off the road on the lefthand side(inland) and very close to several houses. It is just an engine with the integral fuselage engine mounts still attached. I have visited this wreck within the last 18 months and am attaching a picture taken by me."
Justin Taylan adds:
"In 2003, I saw a piece of wreckage with the manufacture number 484 on it in this same area. But, there was also a Ki-48 wreck in the area with that same
manufacture number."
