Location
Dutch Harbor borders Unalaska on Unalaska Island in the Fox Island Group (Fox Islands) in the Aleutian Island Chain (Aleutian Islands) in Alaska in the United States.

Wartime History
This city was developed into a base and staging area. On June 3-4, 1942 Japanese carrier planes from Ryūjō and Junyō strike Dutch Harbor. On the ground, there was only minor damage with 63 total casualties including 35 killed.
