Location Erventa Harbor spans from Kangu to Kahili bordering the southern coast of Bougainville Island in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville (Bougainville Province) in Papua New Guinea (PNG). To the east is Moisuru Bay. In Japanese kown as Erventa Harbor and pronounced Erubenta (E'roo'benta) エレベンタ 泊地 and was also known as "Buin Harbor". Offshore to the south is Erventa Island and Popotala Island. Wartime History Between 1942–1944 used as a Japanese anchorage. The coastal area was used by the Japanese Army 17th Army headquarters.
