Location
Lat 13.6° N Long 144.8° E  Agana Bay is located to the west of Agana (Hagatna, Hagåtña) on the western coast of of Guam Island in the Territory of Guam in the Southern Mariana Island Group (Mariana Islands) in the Mariana Island Group (Mariana Islands) in the United States of America (USA). Also known as Hagatna Bay or Hagåtña Bay. Borders Adelup Point and the Orote Peninsula.

Wartime History
On July 21, 1944 at 8:29am the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) made an amphibious landing at Agana Bay while the 1st Provisional Marine Brigade landed near Agat to the south. The landing came under fire from the Japanese defenses dug in on the high ground overlooking the beaches.

Adelup Point
During the Japanese occupation of Guam, Adelup Point was developed by the Japanese with fortifications built into the rock cliffs. A battery of large guns was emplaced at the point. After the recapture of the island by the United States, Commodore W. O. Hiltabidle, CEC USN, 5th Naval Construction Brigade, set up his command post at this location. Today, site of Adelup Park part of the War In The Pacific Historic Parks.

Agana Airfield (Antonio B. Won Pat Airport, Guam Airport)
Built by the Japanese, used postwar by the US Navy, today Guam Airport.
