Location Lat 5° 1' 45N Long 119° 46' 23E Bongao is located on the eastern end on Bongao Island in Tawi-Tawi Province in the southwest Sulu Archipelago in the Autonomous Region In Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) of the Philippines. To the north is Bongao Channel and beyond Sanga-Sanga Island. To the northeast is Tawi-Tawi Island.
