Location Bongao Island is located in Tawi-Tawi Province in the southwest Sulu Archipelago in the Autonomous Region In Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) of the Philippines. To the north is Bongao Channel and beyond Sanga-Sanga Island. To the northeast is Tawi-Tawi Island. At the center is Bongao Peak a mountain range that is visible in the entire area. Bongao Lat 5° 1' 45N Long 119° 46' 23E Bongao is located at the eastern end of Bongao Island. During March 1945 to April 1945 attacked by U.S. bombers and fighters. American missions against Bongao March 30, 1945–April 2, 1945 March 30, 1945 P-38s hit Bongao. March 31, 1945 B-24s again bomb Bongao. April 2, 1945 (FEAF) B-24s hit Bongao. Contribute
