Location
Bongao Island is located in Tawi-Tawi Province in the southwest Sulu Archipelago in the Autonomous Region In Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) of the Philippines. To the north is Bongao Channel and beyond Sanga-Sanga Island. To the northeast is Tawi-Tawi Island. At the center is Bongao Peak a mountain range that is visible in the entire area.

Lat 5° 1' 45N Long 119° 46' 23E  Bongao is located at the eastern end of Bongao Island. During March 1945 to April 1945 attacked by U.S. bombers and fighters.
