Location Lat 13° 9' 45N Long 123° 41' 37E Daraga is located inland from Legaspi in Albay Province on Luzon in the Philippines. Also known as Locsin. Wartime History During late March 1945 targeted by U.S. aircraft. On April 1, 1945 after the U.S .Army RCT 158 reinforced lands at Legaspi with the 2nd Battalion encounters resistance near Daraga. On April 2, 1945 they withdraws through Daraga after relieving elements isolated near there. On April 3, 1945 the RCT 158 makes limited progress against enemy positions on a ridge running southward from Daraga. On April 4, 1945 the 2d and 3d Battalions make a frontal attack southward against the ridge. On April 9, 1945 RCT 158 overcomes resistance near Daraga and secures the junction of Highway 1 and Highway 160. American missions against Darago (Locsin) March 27, 1945–March 30, 1945 Contribute
