Location Sisiman Bay is located on the southern edge of the Bataan Peninsula in Bataan Province on Luzon in the Philippines. Also known as Sisiman Cove. Borders Sisiman. To the west is Mariveles Harbor and Mariveles. To the south is the North Channel into Manila Bay. Offshore the southeaeast is Corregidor Island. Wartime History After December 10, 1941 when Cavite Navy Yard was bombed, PT Boats from Motor Torpedo Boat Squadron 3 (MTBRon3) began operating from Sisiman Bay. At the time, only a small fishing dock and a few Filipino nipa huts were located ashore. Used by PT Boats to patrol the coast of Bataan Peninsula and as far south as the Batangas Peninsula and Verde Island. On March 11, 1942 PT-34 and PT-32 wait in Sisiman Bay (Sisiman Cove) for a launch with senior officers from Corregidor then evacuated. Sisiman Bay was used by PT Boats until the surrender of the Bataan Peninsula.
