Location
Lat 9° 15' 0S Long 159° 40' 60E  Takolenduna village is located on Nugu Point on Cape Esperance on the north coast of Guadalcanal. Borders Visale Bay and Visale.

Wartime History
During the Guadalcanal campaign, the Takolenduna area was occupied by the Japanese until early February 1943.
