Location
Lat 9° 27' 19S Long 160° 12' 24E  Tetere is located on the north coast of Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands. Borders Iron Bottom Sound to the north and Honiara to the west.

Tetere Beach Memorial
White memorial pillar obscured by high grass. Since 1996, the brass plaque is missing.

LVT Amtrac Dump
An area near the beach has a large LVT Amtrac dump area. Each has had all the wartime fittings, armaments and engines stripped away, only the exterior shells remain.
