Aircraft History
Built by Lockheed in Burbank, CA. Model Model 237-27-01. Constructors Number 5534. Assigned US Navy (USN) as PV-1 Ventura bureau number 34644. Disassembled and shipped to Oahu then to New Zealand as part of lend-lease aircraft.

Wartime History
On August 10, 1943 assigned to the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) as Ventura NZ4521. Reassembled by Unit 19 at Whenuapai Airfield. Assigned to 1 Squadron with code ZX-G. On October 17, 1943 flown to Henderson Field on Guadalcanal. During March 1944 assigned to 2 Squadron and later in the month flown back to New Zealand.

Postwar
This Ventura was stored at from Hamilton Airfield (Rukuhia). On March 2, 1948 sold to J. Larsen and scrapped afterwards.
