Location
Lat 9° 25' 60S Long 159° 56' 60E Betikama inland from the north coast of Guadalcanal. To the north is the Kukum Highway and beyond Lunga Point. To the east is the Lunga River and beyond Henderson Field. To the west is Honiara. Prewar and during the Pacific War part of the British Solomon Islands Protectorate (BSIP). Today part of Guadalcanal Province in the Solomon Islands.

Small museum with
relics and aircraft on display. Collected decades ago, the museum has
not has much upkeep in recent years, but still gets a steady stream
of visitors.

Excavated on November 2, 2005 and exploded inside aggregate crushing plant
