Aircraft History Built by Nakajima. Delivered to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF) as Army Type 94 Reconnaissance / Ki-4 manufacture number unknown. Wartime History Assigned to an unknown Hiko Sentai (Flying Regiment) in Manchuria (Manchukuo). Mission History This Ki-4 crashed between June 1939–August 1939 in the vicinity of Nomonhan (Khalkhin Gol) in eastern Mongolia. Wreckage Three pieces of wreckage from this aircraft are displayed at the Mongolian Military History Museum in Ulaanbaatar. Wreckage consists of a small metal box with a dataplate, a piece of structure, and the center portion of an Oxygen mask.
