Location
Halavo (Balava) village is located on the southern coast of Florida Island (Nggela Sule, Big Gela) bordering Halavo Bay. Also spelled Balava. Prewar and during the Pacific War part of the British Solomon Islands Protectorate (BSIP). Today located in Central Province in the Solomon Islands.

of shore moorings for PBYs and other seaplanes.
