Location
Nggela Pile Island is located in the Florida Island Group in Central Province in the Solomon Islands. Also known as "Small Gela". To the northwest is larger Florida Island (Nggela Sule, Big Gela), Tulagi Harbor and Tulagi Island. To the south is Mbungana Island (Bungana). Beyond borders Ngello Channel and Iron Bottom Sound to the south.
Tinete Point
Tinete Point is located at the tip of the Philips Peninsula at the southwestern tip of Nggela Pile (Small Gela). To the south is Mbungana Island (Bungana).
