Location
Sesapi is located on the northeastern tip of Tulagi Island in the Florida Island Group in Central Province in the Solomon Islands. Borders Tulagi Harbor and Florida Island to the north and Macambo Island to the east.
Tulagi PT Boat Base (Sesapi/Macambo)
During July 1943, Squadrons 1, 3, and 8 were using the Sesapi and Macambo. Built at this location were two 1,000-barrel tanks for gasoline.
